When they had crossed (Jordan), Elijah said to Elisha,
"Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?"
"Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit," Elisha replied.
"You have asked a difficult thing," Elijah said,
"yet if you see me when I am taken from you,
it will be yours - otherwise, it will not." (2 Kings 2,9-10)

Eternal ideas are primal images (C.G. Jung). Archetypes are universal patterns that can be found in structurally similar ways in all peoples in all ages. The emergence of archetypes in the creative imagination of human beings is linked to a psychological energy capable of bringing about transformation. "The emergence of archetypes often fills one with awe; it is then that they unfold their healing effect, setting stagnant processes of the soul in motion again" (Prof. Christian Roesler).
